Boom Cycle Holborn recently opened a shiny, bright brand new studio in the centre of Holborn. For the first two weeks of their opening they offered free classes withcomplimentary lockers and fluffy white towels placed on each bike. So I knew I had to get myself to a Boom Cycle session.
I went to a 10am Boom Cycle Body Blast class. Which involved hand weights to work the upper body and dance music. The lights go down, the sound system is turned on, the bass kicks in and we spin. The new bike resistance is felt instantly and the various weight exercises ensure you feel the burn.
45 minutes later I left with a soggy t-shirt, tired legs and high on endorphins ready to take on the day.
